The Trenton/Black River rock formation lies beneath all of the identified counties stretching from Ontario, Canada south into Virginia and Tennessee. Fortuna Energy has drilled wells in all the highlighted counties. The core operating area is in the Southern Tier of New York State. We have dozens of productive wells in Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben and Tioga counties. Active leasing and exploration is underway and planned for Broome, Cortland and Tompkins counties in New York and the Northern Tier counties of Bradford and Tioga in Pennsylvania. We are also developing gas reserves in the Tri-State area of Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.
